Keep an eye on the Alpha One Spot Test schedule for when testing will be available for users who own the Braver of Worlds (or higher) package, Intrepid Pre-Order Package, Adventurer Pre-Order Package or other Alpha One access.
Listed below are the most common errors you may experience while logging into the game client during the Alpha One testing. If your error isn't on this list, or any of the suggested fixes don't work, please contact our support team for further assistance.
Could not process contents of patch manifest while preparing to patch from specific version
This error generally means that there are corrupt game files in the patch data. The easiest solution is to locate your Ashes of Creation install folder and delete the “.patcher” folder. You may also need to search your PC for any other “.patcher” folders to ensure that you do not have left over remnants of a previous patch.
This error can also occur if your Windows is set to the Czech language/region. Toggling to English/US may resolve this issue.
Unable to access network ports, do you wish to use admin mode to repair
This error will occur if you already have a version of the game client running. The network ports are already in use and cannot be accessed again. You may need to open Task Manager and check to see if the process Ashes of Creation is already running. If it is, select it and End Task. If you continue to see this issue, restart your computer to clear any lingering processes.
You have been disconnected from the server
This error usually occurs after another error has prevented you from connecting or if the servers are brought down for any reason. But you may also get this error if you have a Firewall or Antivirus program blocking the connection to the internet. Please try to pause or disable any security software while you are connecting to the game servers. Don’t forget to turn your security software back on once you have connected. You can also add the Intrepid Launcher and Ashes of Creation to any “Allowed” list your security software may have. Please contact your security software maker for additional support.
Cannot Find Install
This error can occur if you have not fully uninstalled the game and try to reinstall. Please follow the steps to completely remove the game before reinstalling.
Patcher.InsffuicientDiskSpace
This message will occur if you are running low on disk space. Please make sure that you meet the minimum requirements.
Launcher opens and closes immediately (prior to login)
This issue can occur if you do not have the latest audio drivers installed on your computer. Please try updating your audio drivers with the latest files found on your motherboard’s website.
Unknown error has occurred.
Please open a support ticket so we can help you troubleshoot.
Failed to Connect to SA Server. Client will exit.
Servers aren't currently available. Please check back during specific testing times, as listed here (this link will only work if you have access to the Alpha One testing).
Unable to connect to the server, please try again later.
This is an issue with server traffic. Please try to log in again later.
Access Denied. (while logging into the launcher)

ERROR GL10

Servers Down or Disabled
Servers will be available during specific times, as listed here (this link will only work if you have access to the Alpha One testing). If you're getting this error when servers should be available and you own Braver of Worlds (or higher), the Adventurer Pre-Order Package or Intrepid Pre-Order Package, please contact us here.
ERROR PF10
If you own Braver of Worlds (or higher), the Adventurer Pre-Order Package or Intrepid Pre-Order Package, there is an issue with your account permissions. Please please contact our support so we can assist you.
Invalid character or guild name
Your name should be between 3-24 characters long. Please also be sure it's appropriate (no inappropriate language or hate speech). If you need help, please open a support ticket here.
There is an issue with your launcher files.
Please repair your game client from the launcher or reinstall to resolve the issue.
