With the rise of recent recruitment job scams, everyone here at Intrepid Studios wants to help you protect yourself during your career search!
The most common scam involves unauthorized third parties claiming to be Intrepid Studios representatives, targeting prospective candidates with fake job opportunities and offers to solicit money, obtain personal, or financial information. These fraudulent solicitations are typically via personal email or various third-party sites such as LinkedIn and messaging apps.
Please keep the following in mind:
- Intrepid Studios recruiters will NOT ask you for the following financial nor personal information: passport info, ID cards, social security numbers, credit card, or bank account information.
- Intrepid Studios recruiters will NEVER use personal email (including @gmail) accounts when contacting candidates.
- We also do NOT interview or screen candidates over messenger nor text-based chat.
- Lastly, you will NEVER receive a job offer from Intrepid Studios without having first had an interview with our Creative Director, Steven Sharif.
Please ensure you verify all communication before sending any sensitive information. If you receive any suspicious messages, they should be reported and ignored. If you have any job questions for us, please feel free to contact us at careers@intrepidstudios.com.
